Dresden University of Economic Technology Visited our university

    Professor Gestring, the Director of Economics Department of Dresden University of Economic Technology, Professor Lewis, the Teaching Director of Economics Department and Yao Yujie, the Director of Sino-Germany Vocational Education Center visited our university on April, 25. The Vice-President Xie Huaqing met with Professor Gestring, and Qiao Liqing, accompanied by the Director of International Office, Meng Zhaoshang, the President of School of International Exchange (Sino-Germany Vocational Education Center), relevant heads of School of Economics and Management, foreign secretary of International Office and commissioners of Sino-Germany Center.

    In the meeting, Xie Huaqing introduced the construction and development of our university, and hoped to reflect the true communication among college, discipline and professor by deepening the cooperation, enhance the teaching and discipline construction with the help of Germany teachers and develop students exchange actively. He also expressed that he very welcomes the Germany students to study in our university and invited the President of Dresden University of Economic Technology to join the 2017 International Cooperation Partner Week held by our university.

    Director Gestring exchanged views with Yan Chunrong on the main problems and relevant measures encountered in training in Germany, and finally reached consensus on cooperation. In recent years, Dresden University of Economic Technology recruits 80 to 100 foreign students every year, and this university attaches great importance to the resource of exchange student of our university, and hopes to attract more students to study in Germany through optimization of course setting.

    Additionally, Director Gestring visited the training places of School of Economics and Management and the foreign students ' apartment.
